We counsel and support women and families, empowering them with the confidence to tackle some of the many challenges life throws their way, and forge a brighter future for themselves and their families.
Our clients are referred to us by the staff at the Retreat MOU. We have a team of volunteers that counsels people in the community who face social issues such as gang violence, abortion, adoption, drug abuse and domestic abuse.
Drug abuse among the women we work with and their friends and family is prominent. The Zoe Project organises a regular drug support group for women who are ready to overcome their own addiction, or to support friends and family.
The Zoe Project has started a training programme to equip mothers with entrepreneurial and technical skills to be self-sufficient and provide for their families.
